Lentil Stew

Lentil Stew....a great detox diet recipe to try !

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups raw lentils
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 6-10 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rinse lentils. Boil with water in pot. Combine with all other ingredients and cook for 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.The ingredients in this stew are easy on the liver, and the cumin and coriander are herbs that help the liver to function well. The detox diet recipe is ready ...enjoy !
